Why do so many gay men talk with a lisp? Is it so other guys will know they are gay?

Kristen I love it when people get so angry at this question...it makes me laugh. I'm not going to bash you because I have wondered it myself. I know many gay men are masculine (and for the record I am a ).....but MANY (unlike these other's who think it's only a hollywood stereotype...that's funny) of my gay guy friends talk with a lisp...they are in the army so when they are in uniform it suddenly goes away. I think it's just a group thing...way to have something in common with others...but I really don't know...it's not like s are known for having crazy lesbionical accents :P
