Get your pinkie toe cut off for money?

I know this sounds bizzare but I heard that you can get paid to get your little toe cut off and re-attached by practicing surgical interns--For money. LOL I know that is weird for me to ask but has anyone heard of this? Does anyone know where to get information about this?
